The first Image is of Rosie the Riveter. Rosie looks like a stereotypical housewife in the face, but her flexing shows that she has gained strength. Her message of 'we can do it' is meant to transcend to other housewives to get them into the workforce. Also the fact that she is white can say some about who the government favored in the workforce. White women typically were given less strenous and better paying jobs than African American women.

The second image is of a beautiful housewife who we assume has a lover in the military because she seems to be clutching letters. The slogan 'longing won't bring him home sooner' is to imply that you might as well work to get him home instead of waiting. that is further reinsured when reasing the bottom of the poster which states 'see your U.S. Employment office'.  Another item to take into consideration is her race and class. This woman seems to be well off because of her well kept hair, nails, make up and dress.

This poster was used to encourage Americans to share their cars. The slogan 'When you ride alone you ride with Hitler' implies a person who does not share their car is not taking action against America's enemy Adolf Hitler. The word Alone is even in capital letters to emphasize that it is a ludicrous idea. It can be implied this poster is targeting wealthier men who could afford a car. The man in the driver's seat is wearing nice clothes and is driving a new, clean car. Since he is not sharing the car an outline of Adolf was drawn in the passenger seat to emphasize the point.

This poster was used to promote was bonds. The tagline implies not buying a bond would let the nazi shadow invade inocent American childrens' lives. The kids were drawn to look like wholesome Americans, they aere wearing clean clothes and the little boy is even holding an American flag.
